This site contains the first items in a collection of works created by some of Australia’s leading designers and artists in wood. Their work is new to the UK market.
The collection is continually growing and aims to become a major showcase for design and craft in wood from Australia.
The Designers
The designers represented are highly skilled and their work has been widely exhibited and sold in galleries throughout Australia.
Many of the designers in the collection live and work in Tasmania, a state with a superb range of beautiful timbers and a strong network of designers. The beautiful and sculptural wood-turning comes from across Australia with artists from Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania each using their local timbers to create spectacular pieces.
The Pieces
Each piece has been made by hand by the designer himself or under his supervision. Local timbers and veneers have been used and are either salvaged or obtained from managed sources.
Please note that owing to the individual nature of the pieces and the natural variation of the timber, each piece is slightly different and will not match exactly the image represented in this site.
The Style
Most of the designs selected are contemporary in style but will complement any interior. In selecting the pieces the emphasis has been on elegance, simplicity and a form that emphasises the natural beauty of the woods used.
Our Commitment
Our aim is to ensure that our customers are delighted with the quality of the items. In order to provide maximum protection, each item is individually packaged by the maker and every effort is made to ensure that it reaches you in perfect condition.
However, if the item is damaged or if you are unhappy with it we will provide you with a full refund or replacement.
